🏀 YOUTH WINTER BASKETBALL REGISTRATION ENDS SOON! 🏀

Registration is open October 1–31 for youth enrolled in 1st–6th Grade for the 2026–2027 school year.

⏰ Late registrations may not be accepted!

🏀 AGE DIVISIONS
• 1st & 2nd Grade: Coed
• 3rd & 4th Grade: Boys & Girls
• 5th & 6th Grade: Boys & Girls
Separate boys’ and girls’ teams are planned for 3rd–6th Grade, but divisions may be adjusted depending on registration numbers.

💰 REGISTRATION FEES
Lansing Residents: $50
Nonresidents: $60
Fees include a jersey and are due at registration.

📝 HOW TO REGISTER
Online: Visit www.lansingks.org/1213/Parks-Recreation-Department and select “Youth Sports Registration.”
In Person: 108 S. 2nd Street (LAST DAY FRI., OCT. 30!
Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.

🏀 WHAT TO EXPECT
• Practices may be twice per week, Monday–Thursday evenings, beginning in December.
• Games are played Saturdays, beginning after the holiday break in January and continuing through mid-March.

⭐ Friend/coach requests may be submitted but are never guaranteed.
⭐ Practice day/time requests are not accepted. Practice schedules are determined by volunteer coaches after teams are formed.
⭐ Team changes are not permitted after teams are formed.
⭐ Schedule conflicts do not qualify for a refund.

🏀 VOLUNTEER COACHES NEEDED!
Volunteer coaches can apply during registration or by contacting Parks & Recreation.
Coaches must:
✔️ Be 18+
✔️ Pass a background check
✔️ Sign the Coaches’ Code of Ethics
Volunteers may apply for multiple divisions and do not need to have a child registered in the program.
Coach applications do not guarantee a coaching position.

⚠️ FEES & REFUND INFORMATION
• If late registration is permitted, a $10 late fee will apply.
• Card transactions include processing fees.
• Nonresident, late, and card processing fees are non-refundable.
• Refunds will not be offered after the November 20, 2026 uniform/equipment order.
• A $5 cancellation fee applies to registration refunds.

👻 Welcome to the enchanting world of the Bernard Park Boo Crew!

For years, a few bashful spirits have made Bernard Park their sanctuary, quietly dwelling among its whispering trees, winding trails, and hidden nooks. But this year, an extraordinary event is unfolding... Fall Fest is gracing Bernard Park for the very first time! 🍂

The Boo Crew has heard mystical tales of the Lansing Fall Fest, but they have never beheld its splendor. Whispers of music, games, pumpkins, laughter, and the warmth of friendly faces have reached their ears. Yet, they have never mustered the courage to traverse beyond the park shadows and witness these wonders for themselves—until now!

Curiosity has stirred in their ghostly hearts! For the very first time, these hidden phantoms have manifested a plan to reveal themselves. They’ve cautiously emerged from the veil of their beloved hiding spots, hoping to be discovered and find new friends.

If you encounter one of the Boo Crew, you’ve awakened a friend! 👻

Bring your newfound ghost companion to the City of Lansing tent during Fall Fest to claim your delightful prize. Should you stumble upon a ghost after the festivities, simply visit the Parks & Recreation office between the hours of 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday, to receive a spellbinding prize! Once your prize is claimed, your ghostly friend is yours to cherish!

And don’t forget to capture a photo with your spectral companion and share it on our Fall Fest Facebook post. We’re eager to see how many members of the Boo Crew venture forth from their secretive abodes!

🍂 FIELD CLOSURE NOTICE: BERNARD PARK'S baseball and softball fields will be CLOSED today and tomorrow (October 16–17) for the City of Lansing’s Fall Festival!

The fields will reopen following the event. Thank you for your cooperation, and we hope to see you at Fall Fest on Saturday, October 17, from 10 AM–3 PM!
