Hey Greater Lansing, the Michigan Infrastructure Council (MIC) needs your help! 🛣️
MIC is conducting a short online survey to help shape a new statewide guide that explains how essential infrastructure systems work, who maintains them, and how decisions about improvements are made.
MIC's Citizen’s Guide to Infrastructure Systems will help residents better understand the roads, drinking water, energy, Internet, and other services we rely on every day. The council is seeking public input to identify the infrastructure topics and questions residents want addressed in the guide, which is expected to be available in spring 2027.
The survey is available online now, and all responses must be submitted by Friday, October 30.

Every day, we rely on infrastructure systems like drinking water, sewer, electricity, natural gas, wastewater, roads, bridges, and internet service, but most of us only think about these systems when things go wrong. When something stops working, we are left with questions: Why isn’t this working?...
