Today is Election Day.

On the ballot is a proposed Charter Amendment regarding Parish Council compensation.

The bigger question is this:

If we want strong, qualified people willing to step into public service, lead through challenges, respond during emergencies, and help move our parish forward, how do we start building the next generation of leaders willing to serve?
