More information about Beaverwise from the September 2026 Meeting
Ryan Hogan, a certified Beaver Wetlands professional and founder of Beaverwise specializes in helping landowners address beaver-related challenges through non-lethal solutions that protect infrastructure while preserving the water storage, drought resilience, forage and riparian health benefits beavers can provide to working landscapes.
Ryan gave us a presentation at our September meeting covering topics such as:
Common conflicts affecting ranches, irrigation systems and roads
Effective coexistence solutions, including pond levelers and culvert protection
When different management approaches are appropriate
Resources available to landowners
The two informational slides from Ryan's presentation provide contact information for Ryan, a code to use for $25.00 off a site inspection, and a list of websites with resources for ranchers who would like to check out the particulars. Ryan would also like to hear any stories you might have about current and former beaver experiences.
