The City of Largo proclaimed this week as the National Friends of the Library Week. This continues to allow us to offer a heartfelt thank-you to the Friends of the Largo Library for all they do for our community.

Through book sales, community donations, and the volunteer-run bookstore, the Friends provide essential funding for building projects, e-resources, and programs and events enjoyed by people of all ages. They also advocate for our library and help ensure it remains a vital resource in the City of Largo.

The Friends of the Largo Library exemplify what can be accomplished when dedicated individuals come together in support of a shared mission. Through their generosity, hard work, and commitment, they help ensure that our library remains a vibrant place of learning, discovery, and opportunity for everyone in our community.

October 18-24 is National Friends of Libraries Week and what better time to share our newly renovated Friends of the Library Bookstore! We are so grateful for our Friends organization and their support and time!

Every time you shop at the library bookstore, you are directly supporting the library and its programs and services. Be sure to stop in and check out the new space!
