Charge your devices. Keep your exits clear. 🔋

When charging or storing e-bikes, scooters, and other lithium-ion battery-powered devices, keep them away from doors and escape routes. A battery fire could block your way out when you need it most.

Take Precautions Against Dengue Fever

Pinellas County has extended its State of Local Emergency for dengue fever through Oct 15. Community members can help reduce mosquito breeding by emptying standing water at least once a week. To protect against bites, wear light-colored, long-sleeved clothing and closed-toed shoes outdoors, and use an Environmental Protection Agency-registered repellent.

For updates, visit Pinellas.gov/mosquito or Pinellas.gov/dengue .

If you believe you have a mosquito-borne illness, contact the Florida Department of Health in Pinellas County at (727)824-6932.
