10-23-26 UPDATE: LaPoynor Elementary report cards will be posted prior to the end of the school day.
LaPoynor ISD Parents and Community,
Please be aware that we will be experiencing a delay in posting Elementary report cards. This will not impact Junior High and High School. In working through our grade verification process, we noticed several issues where student grades were not calculating correctly in Ascender for our elementary students. While this is why we have a verification process, it is frustrating for our families, teachers and administrators to experience these issues. We are actively working with Region 7 and Ascender to remedy this problem. I apologize for the delay, but grades must be correct.
I am also aware that there have been many frustrations over the years for our community with the Ascender program. As a district, we have begun actively pursuing a solution that will replace Ascender in future school years and alleviate these frustrations. We will be sure to update everyone as those details get finalized. Thank you.
