🖌️🏜️Art and science align at Ag Wagon on Oct. 24 from 10 a.m. to noon! Kids will learn about different types of soil such as sand, loam, and clay, and make earthy-colored pigments to paint with. 🎃🍂 They will collect different samples of these soils, grind up the samples using a mortar and pestle, and then create a value and color chart. Once that is complete, they'll create paintings from their soil samples.

Foster creativity and ingenuity by exploring the Museum! Here are some ideas:
🎨Discover art in Main Gallery, Recent Acquisitions, and all around the museum
🌽 Play with soil and name all the colors you see in the Jardín de Tortugas Pueblo
🖍️ Color and invent assistive technologies to help farmers in the AgrAbility Creative Corner

🎟️The Ag Wagon education program is included with regular admission for kids and accompanying adults. Ag Wagon is sponsored by the Friends of the NM Farm & Ranch Heritage Museum
