Nevada Lieutenant Governor

Nevada joins the motorsports community and fans across the world in mourning the passing of Las Vegas native and NASCAR champion Kyle Busch.

Kyle was one of the most accomplished and recognizable drivers in the history of racing. His competitive spirit, undeniable talent, and deep passion for the sport helped elevate NASCAR for an entire generation of fans. Beyond his achievements on the track, he proudly carried the name of Las Vegas and the State of Nevada throughout his remarkable career.

Our state is grateful for the pride and recognition he brought to Nevada, and we extend our deepest condolences to his wife Samantha, their children, his family, friends, teammates, and the entire racing community during this difficult time.

Kyle Busch’s legacy will endure both in motorsports history and in the hearts of those who admired him.

This week, we honor the brave men and women of law enforcement who proudly serve and protect Nevada every day.

We thank you for your courage, sacrifice, and steadfast commitment to keeping Nevada safe.
