📚🏈 Making an Impact Through Literacy and Partnerships!

The Athletics and Public Education Foundation surprised students and staff during a CCSD Book Bus visit with a day full of reading, learning, and fun!

Students had the exciting opportunity to meet Major League Baseball players, who took time out of their day to read to students and inspire a love of literacy. 📖⚾ Students also received free books and fun swag, while teachers received Classroom in a Box donations to support their classrooms.

Through the power of Literacy and Community Partnerships, we’re putting books into students’ hands, supporting educators, and creating memorable experiences that inspire lifelong learning.

Let’s start the week off with some sweet news! Last week, Nothing Bundt Cakes, a community partner, once again surprised CCSD bus drivers with a sweet treat. This time, the Arville Transportation Facility got to enjoy bundtinis! We appreciate our transportation staff for keeping our students safe on the way to and from school every day! ⚽ School spirit, friendly competition, and unforgettable memories at Cashman Middle School!

Through Clark County School District Adopt A School Program, Las Vegas Lights Football Club brought the excitement to Cashman Middle School with an energetic pep rally filled with games, laughter, and friendly competition! 🎉 Students had the opportunity to interact with the team members, show off their skills, and cheer each other on.

As an extra bonus, students received free tickets to the Las Vegas Lights FC final game at Cashman Field! 🙌

A Wolf Pack welcome right here in CCSD! UNR alumna and outstanding CCSD Pre-K teacher Michelle Branchini got a special surprise at her school this morning when she was presented with the UNR Excellence in Education Award.

Thank you to UNR for celebrating the incredible educators making a difference for students every day. Ms. Branchini is taking home a well deserved plaque, a swag bag and tickets to cheer on the Wolf Pack against UNLV next month. Congratulations, Ms. Branchini!

Today, Edith Garehime Elementary School received a $30,000 grant from the Edna Rose Crane Educational Foundation to support its amazing tutoring program! This generous investment will help students build confidence, strengthen their skills, and achieve academic success!

🔟 days to go!

The 4th Annual CCSD Monster Dash and Wellness Fair is almost here, and we have a lot to be excited about. On October 17, Lee’s Family Forum will be filled with CCSD employees coming together to move, connect, recharge and have a little fun.

Best of all, this event is completely free for CCSD employees, and we could not make it happen without the incredible organizations that continue to invest in the health and wellness of our educators and staff.

Wins deserve to be celebrated! 🙌🏽

These students were recognized for their growth in academics and attendance and received student incentives for Houston TX Hot Chicken as a special reward for their hard work.

More than the reward, students shared how good it felt to know their efforts were noticed and that their school community was cheering them on. 💙

Happy National Coaches Day! Today, we’re celebrating the incredible coaches across the Clark County School District who make a difference far beyond the scoreboard. Our coaches are mentors, motivators, role models, and champions for our students. They teach teamwork, resilience, discipline, and what it means to show up for yourself and your team on the field, on the court, and in the classroom.

We visited Robert Taylor Elementary School, Del Sol Academy of the Performing Arts, and Mojave High School to surprise some exemplary coaches who go above and beyond every day.

To every CCSD coach who inspires our students, thank you for the time, heart, and dedication you give every day!

A great event starts with great partners.
