GIRAFFES
Southern giraffes drinking @ Kennedy 1 pan in Hwange National Park. Giraffes can go days without drinking. They are one of the animals which can survive in real arid areas. They will feed @ night to obtain moisture from the leaves they browse, sometimes can eat wild melons.

Hunting lioness
Lions may spend up to 15 - 20 hours a day sleeping, but if they are hungry, & hunting has not been successful, they may continue to wander & hunt throughout even during the hottest part of the day, & kills may take place even @ midday on scorching hot days. Lions maybe met with in Hwange National Park @ almost anytime but by far the best period to seek them from early morning untill about 10 a.m. & again from 4pm onwards depending on the weather & the season & of course they are more active @ night.
