On January 5 | filed for re-election in Family Court, Dept. O. Filing closed yesterday and I am officially unopposed. l am so grateful for the opportunity to continue to serve this great community. Thank you to the legal community for their confidence in me.

Had a wonderful evening last night at the Southern Nevada Building Trades Union Sportsman’s Alliance Dinner. Thank you to all of our union members and affiliates in attendance. It was so great to meet so many of our hard working men and women!

A few great events this past week!!

Thursday I attended an event put on by the Asian American Group to discuss how the community can work with our amazing Metro officers to make our community even safer.

Yesterday I was honored to attend the swearing in ceremony of our newest Nevada lawyers - Congratulations to all of our new admittees ⚖️

On Sunday I participated in the Vegas Strong 5K to honor those who were victims of the tragic October One shooting. While at the walk I met a special lady, Mary who lost her daughter at the concert. My heart goes out to her and everyone whose life changed that night. 💛

Had such a wonderful time at the Clark County Bar Association 34th annual Meet your Judges Mixer. Such a fun time to get together with colleagues outside of the courtroom.

Great start to the day talking about the issues facing out community in our family court system with Tom and Russell Letizia on The Tom Letizia Show. I was then able to attend the Latin Chamber of Commerce Nevada Luncheon which focused on Women in Power. What great insights from 2 very strong women in our community. Thank you Peter Guzman for a fantastic luncheon.

Another wonderful Hispanics in Politics early morning breakfast today. We had the pleasure of hearing from our esteemed Mayor Berkley about the issues facing our city and Superintendent Ebert regarding her commitment to our students and community. Thank you again Fernando for another fantastic event and I always love catching up with people in our community.
