Formerly called the Las Vegas Grammar School, the complex is now known as the Historic Fifth Street School, due to its location on Fifth Street
The Historic Fifth Street School is owned and operated by the city of Las Vegas; primary tenants are the Nevada School of the Arts, the city of Las Vegas Information Technology department, and the city of Las Vegas Office of Cultural Affairs who manage the property and oversee all facility rentals and arts and culture programming on site.
