We’re proud to announce two powerhouse voices bringing their Economic Sustainability expertise to our Roundtable at ConveneNV 2025: Dorian Stonebarger and Andrew Woods.

At ConveneNV, they’ll share key findings from our Impact Collaboratives—statewide convenings designed to map Nevada’s economic, environmental, and social landscape and identify the most urgent areas for action. Their perspectives will frame the call to action for how we, as a community, can co-lead and co-create solutions that strengthen Nevada’s economy for the long term.

Join us as we bring together leaders, innovators, and changemakers to chart a sustainable future for Nevada.

"It’s a joy to be here today as we celebrate not only Earth Day—but a full decade of solar power lighting up one of the most recognized symbols in the world: the Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas sign.

Back in 2014, ImpactNV brought together an incredible coalition— Clark County, Nevada, NV Energy, the Consumer Technology Association (CTA), Clean Energy Project, and Bombard Renewable —around a shared vision. We wanted to show that sustainability could be bold, visible, and inspiring. And what better place to do that than right here at the gateway to our community?

These solar trees weren’t just an investment in clean energy—they were a statement. A message to the world that Southern Nevada is committed to doing things differently. We are more than bright lights and entertainment. We are leaders in building a resilient, sustainable future.

Over the last ten years, these panels have quietly done their job—offsetting emissions, powering the sign, and sending energy back to the grid. But their impact is louder than ever—amplified by the tens of millions of photos taken in front of this sign, each one carrying a piece of our sustainability story out into every corner of the world.

As we change the lights on this iconic sign to green today, we’re not just honoring the past—we’re looking to the future. This sign, and this project, remind us that when we work together, we can spark change that’s not only symbolic—but deeply impactful.
As we look ahead, we’re more committed than ever to making Southern Nevada a beacon—not only of bright lights and great food—but of sustainable innovation and resilience for the world to see.

And we look forward to continuing this journey—collaborating, innovating, and building a cleaner, stronger future for every Nevadan."

ImpactNV was thrilled to be at Prentiss Walker Park this morning with our incredible partners—the Vegas Golden Knights and the City of North Las Vegas, Nevada - Municipal Government—as we planted 25 trees as part of our 100,000 tree statewide initiative.

Three years ago, ImpactNV launched this 10-year program to combat climate challenges and create healthier, more equitable communities in our state. Today, with nearly 7,000 trees planted, we’re proud to be taking another step forward in one of the neighborhoods that needs it most—this park is in a community ranked 123 out of 128 census blocks in North Las Vegas by the American Forests tree equity score.

Thanks to the Golden Knights' Green Game on St. Patrick’s Day—and generous matches from ReRoute Americas - Making Sustainability a REALITY , The Venetian Resort Las VegasThe Venetian Resort Las Vegas, and the Henderson Silver Knights —we’re adding 71 new trees to our goal, including the 25 we’re planting today.

For 15 years, ImpactNV has united public and private partners in innovative ways to advance sustainable development, improve air quality, reduce urban heat, and bring meaningful shade to our communities.

A huge thank you to the City of North Las Vegas and the Vegas Golden Knights for their leadership and continued commitment. And as we stand here just one week before Earth Day, we look forward to growing this impact together for years to come. Let’s keep planting, keep partnering, and keep pushing for a more sustainable Nevada!

Thank you to Vegas Golden Knights for your recognition of ImpactNV at the annual Green Game for St. Patrick's Day! We had a great time last night supporting the Knights and being the 3rd period siren. VGK, as part of their SHIELD program, is donating a tree for every save from the game last night and the Henderson Silver Knights game this weekend to our 10 Year, 100,000 Tree Program. VGK's commitment is being matched by fellow partners in sustainability ReRoute Americas and The Venetian Resort Las Vegas. With 18 saves during their 5 to 1 victory over the Bruins, we are at 54 trees so far to be planted in a low tree equity, high heat area of North Las Vegas next month.
The SHIELD program supports Sustainability, Healthy Air Quality, Improve & Inspire, Energy and water efficiency, Landscape protection, and Decreased waste. Supporting the Knights means supporting a Sustainable Las Vegas and we are so proud of the partnership. Go Knights Go!
Of course we took Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada Game Day Express bus to the game to reduce emissions and congestion. It is a great and affordable way to arrive safely to the game and have fun with fellow fans along the way!
