We're excited to hear Nadine Lusmoeller's presentation tomorrow night on the importance of trauma awareness, resilience, and healing during First Tuesdays with HEART. Nadine will share personal experiences and insights as a mass violence survivor and counseling graduate student.

The Forever One Memorial team asks us to share information about their survey, which closes Wednesday, June 3. They invite the Route 91 community to share song lyrics, quotes, phrases, or reflections to inform the storytelling within the memorial since music and community played an important role in bringing people together before and after 1 October.

You're welcome to answer as much or as little as you feel comfortable here: https://form.jotform.com/261405473508052

We extend our deepest gratitude to Director Tennille Pereira as she steps into a new role as Director of the Vegas Strong Fund, where she will lead efforts to construct the Forever One Memorial honoring everyone impacted by the Route 91 tragedy. Since the earliest days after October 1, 2017, Tennille has been a steady and compassionate leader, working with survivors and bereaved families in the immediate aftermath to ensure they would be legally, mentally, and financially resilient.

She has guided the transformation of the Vegas Strong Resiliency Center into what is now the Resiliency & Justice Center—a permanent resource for anyone in Nevada affected by crime. Through her leadership, our center has earned national recognition and accolades, becoming a model for communities seeking to build thoughtful, trauma-informed responses to tragedy. We know Tennille will do an extraordinary job ensuring a lasting and meaningful memorial comes to life.

To everyone in the Route 91 community and the others we serve, please know that Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada's Resiliency & Justice Center remains here for you. Our team will continue its devotion to supporting your lifelong healing journeys with the same care and dedication that Tennille helped us establish. We're committed to finding a leader who will carry on our efforts to support this essential mission.

We thank Tennille for her years of service, and we wish her all the best in this important next chapter.

The grocery store where two people were tragically killed earlier this month is reopening today. We are grateful to the store management and news outlets that have let the community know about our no-cost services.

The Resiliency & Justice Center will continue to be here for anyone impacted by the devastating incident on May 12 to connect them with ongoing resources, including support groups, mental health providers, integrative services, and peer support.

We were honored to have been invited to the Training of Trainers Event by Disaster Services - Missouri Dept of Mental Health. Our own Jackie Harris and Lorea Arostegui had the privilege of attending and presenting sessions on Psychological First Aid and Skills for Psychological Recovery—two pillars of the trauma-informed work we do every day.

We're so grateful to the Router who donated this stunning piece to the Resiliency & Justice Center. It's a wonderful addition to our office and will always serve as a reminder of our commitment to everyone impacted by 1 October.
