Father, I ask you to bless my friend reading this right now! Lord, show them a new revelation of Your love and power. Holy Spirit, I ask You to minister to their spirit at this very moment.
Where there is pain, give them Your peace & mercy. Where there is self-doubting, release a renewed confidence in Your ability to work through them.
Where there is tiredness, or exhaustion, I ask You to give them understanding, patience, & strength as they learn submission to Your leading.
Where there is spiritual stagnation, I ask You to renew them by revealing Your nearness, and by drawing them into greater intimacy with You.
Where there is fear, reveal Your love, and release to them Your courage.
Where there is a sin blocking them, reveal it, and break its hold over my friends' life.
Bless their finances, give them greater vision, and raise up leaders, and friends to support, and encourage them.
Give each of them discernment to recognize the demonic around them, and reveal to them the power they have in You to defeat it.
I ask You to do these things in Jesus name!
In Christian love, Your Friend in Jesus

What does the Bible say about what foods we should eat? Are there foods a Christian should avoid?
Answer: Leviticus chapter 11 lists the dietary restrictions God gave to the nation of Israel. The dietary laws included prohibitions against eating pork, shrimp, shellfish and many types of seafood, most insects, scavenger birds, and various other animals. The dietary rules were never intended to apply to anyone other than the Israelites. The purpose of the food laws was to make the Israelites distinct from all other nations. After this purpose had ended, Jesus declared all foods clean (Mark 7:19). God gave the apostle Peter a vision in which He declared that formerly unclean animals could be eaten: “Do not call anything impure that God has made clean” (Acts 10:15). When Jesus died on the cross, He fulfilled the Old Testament law (Romans 10:4; Galatians 3:24-26; Ephesians 2:15). This includes the laws regarding clean and unclean foods.
Romans 14:1-23 teaches us that not everyone is mature enough in the faith to accept the fact that all foods are clean. As a result, if we are with someone who would be offended by our eating “unclean” food, we should give up our right to do so as to not offend the other person. We have the right to eat whatever we want, but we do not have the right to offend other people, even if they are wrong. For the Christian in this age, though, we have freedom to eat whatever we wish as long as it does not cause someone else to stumble in his/her faith.
In the New Covenant of grace, the Bible is far more concerned with how much we eat than what foods Christians eat. Physical appetites are an analogy of our ability to control ourselves. If we are unable to control our eating habits, we are probably also unable to control other habits such as those of the mind (lust, covetousness, unrighteous hatred/anger) and unable to keep our mouths from gossip or strife. As Christians, are not to let our appetites control us; rather, we are to control them (Deuteronomy 21:20; Proverbs 23:2; 2 Peter 1:5-7; 2 Timothy 3:1-9; 2 Corinthians 10:5).

God, You are my rock, my shield, and the horn of my salvation; my high tower, and my refuge, my savior; You savest me from violence. Help me understand the difference between good and bad, almighty God. With patience and wisdom, I wish to aid You in the battle between light and dark, one that I am unwilling to lose. All of this I ask in Your honor. Amen.

Dear God, I am so grateful to be Your child. Thank you, Father, for Your goodness and Your mercy which are the core part of my life. Father, I am grateful that I get to spend eternity with You; there is no place I’d rather be. Lord, I pray that more people will encounter Your word, so that they too are compelled to become saved and spend an eternity with You too. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

O Lord, You have poured down untold blessings of grace upon the head of Your people, but the world is hostile to You, Your Word, and Your children. We walk like Daniel among lions, but You can shut the mouths of the lions. We shine as lights in a pitch-black night, but the darkness cannot overcome the light. We will not fear man, for if God is for us, who can prevail against us?

Dear God, thank you for giving us the perfect example of love through Your son, Jesus Christ. Give us opportunities each day to be Your hands and feet while we remain here on Earth. I want to bless others like You have blessed me. I want my life to be a blessing to those in need – not for my own glory but to glorify You, O Lord. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Dear God, thank you for the incredible gift of your son, Jesus Christ. Through his death and resurrection, we have been set from death and given eternal life. Our salvation sets us apart in the midst of darkness. Thank you for overcoming darkness, O Lord. May we live our lives shining brightly to bring your glory and draw others to you. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Dear God, thank you for loving me enough to send Your Son to save my life. Thank you for not turning away from me while I was yet a sinner even though You had every reason to be ashamed of me. Forgive me for the times when I was ashamed and scared to share my faith in You with others. Give me the boldness to share Your hope with others. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Lord God, I pray for the strength in the face of adversities. Let me not begrudge or despise my neighbors for any wrongs they may have committed, but help me forgive them and show compassion. For I know he who shows mercy, is one who pleases you, my Lord, for you are our most loving of Fathers. Let me forget past transgressions and help me heal, Lord. For You are my guide in all things, Amen.

Father of Heaven, who gave His only begotten son, I thank you for Your sacrifice. May we praise the name of Christ in the highest, for dying upon the cross to give us the gift of grace and freedom. May the unjust be cleansed, and upon the cross our souls be forgiven. May the blood You shed not be in vain but be always with us, as the rising sun, shining down on all man the message of salvation.

Thank you for giving me a clear path to righteousness, gracious and faithful God. My efforts have been weak at times, I know this, and it is with this prayer that I promise You that I shall be more diligent, virtuous, patient, kind, and knowledgeable. Jesus Christ has shown me the path, and it is my choice whether or not to follow it. I pray to You today and all of my days: I shall take the righteous path. Amen.
