CSUN Judicial Council (UNLV)

This is the official page of the UNLV CSUN Student Government's' Judicial Branch.

The Judicial Council is a separate branch of the CSUN Student Government, consisting of 9 Justices. The Council plays an important role as an arbitrator and interpreter of the governing laws of the student government as a whole. The main duties of a Justice is to judge the constitutionality of the acts within CSUN Student Government, conduct interpretations of the CSUN Constitution, and hear appea

Meet the Council! Christian Ogata is a junior majoring in Political Science. He is also a member of the debate team at UNLV. His favorite part about being an associate justice is that the justices are able to disagree about things through discussions and everyone is still able to remain friends.

Meet the Council! Chief Justice Saxe is a senior majoring in political science. He is president of the fraternity Alpha Epsilon Pi and executive vice president of the interfraternity council. His favorite thing about being a part of the judicial branch is the opportunity for young people to experience a critical analysis of legal documents.

Being a part of CSUN means having the responsibility of serving the student body. With this vision in mind, the Judicial Council is continuously seeking ways to improve. Our training today has united the justices and clerks in building new goals for the coming year.

Meet the Council! Justice Saperstein is a senior finishing up his degree in Research Honors Political and History. He enjoys the intellectual and legal battle found in cases. He is a member of the fraternity AEPI and was born and raised in Paris, France!
