Today, we’re kicking off the celebration by showing appreciation for the incredible EMTs and Paramedics who serve our community every day.

This morning, our crews enjoyed breakfast as a small thank you for the big impact they make on countless lives across Southern Nevada. Tonight, the celebration continues with an evening at the Aviators game! ⚾🎉

Yesterday marked the beginning of EMS Week, a time to recognize and celebrate the incredible EMTs and Paramedics who answer the call every single day.

At AMR and MedicWest, we are proud to work alongside dedicated first responders who provide compassionate care, calm in moments of crisis, and unwavering service to our community. Whether responding to emergencies, comforting patients and families, or supporting one another behind the scenes, your commitment makes a difference every day.

Today we’re celebrating National Therapy Animal Day and the incredible impact our four-legged partners make every single day. 🐾

At AMR and MedicWest, we’re proud to have Mercy and Raider, our therapy dogs, as part of our extended team. They bring comfort, calm, and a sense of connection to our crews and community.

Whether it’s a quick visit after a tough call or a reassuring presence during community events, Mercy and Raider remind us that healing comes in many forms.

Hands-Only CPR can be a life saving skill that anyone can learn🚑

Yesterday, we had the pleasure of teaching a Teddy-Bear clinic at Summerlin Hospital and introducing kindergartners to Hands-Only CPR🧸

A critical part of becoming an AEMT, is learning how to administer an IV.

That’s exactly what our students are learning today with some hands on training🚑

Our dispatchers are the true first first responders. They are the calm in the chaos, the steady voice in moments of uncertainty, and the critical link between our communities and the care they need. From coordinating emergency responses to supporting our crews in the field, their impact is felt on every call.

We are proud to partner with Nevada Donor Network and other agencies across the state to kick off Donate Life Month 💚

This meaningful initiative brings our team together to help raise awareness about the life-saving impact of organ, eye, and tissue donation. Every registration, every conversation, and every show of support helps give hope to those waiting for a second chance at life.

We’re honored to stand alongside our community in support of this incredible cause. Join us as we take on the challenge and make a difference.

Today, we join our partners at the Clark County Fire Department in honoring the life of John Moreno.

John was more than a firefighter—he was a teammate, a friend, and a dedicated public servant who showed up every day with a commitment to helping others. His impact will be felt far beyond the calls he responded to, in the lives he touched and the people who had the privilege to work alongside him.

On behalf of AMR and MedicWest, we extend our deepest condolences to his family, loved ones, and our entire firefighter family. We stand with you during this difficult time.

We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Clark County Firefighter Paramedic John Moreno. His dedication to serving others and commitment to protecting our community will never be forgotten.

John answered the call to help people on some of their hardest days, and his impact reached far beyond the emergencies he responded to. He was a teammate, a public servant, and a source of strength and compassion to so many.

Our hearts are with his family, friends, and fellow firefighters during this incredibly difficult time. We honor his life, his service, and the legacy he leaves behind. Thank you for your sacrifice and for the difference you made in our community.
