On Monday, April 20, 2026, the House of Representatives passed the First Responder Network Authority Reauthorization Act of 2026. H.R. 7386 prevents the termination of the FirstNet Authority before its sunset in February 2027.
Public Safety supports FirstNet and the reauthorization of the FirstNet Authority. FirstNet is a valuable asset used daily by first responders and the public safety community.
