Temperatures are on their way up, and will rebound close to normal this afternoon, warming further through midweek. Plenty of sunshine and light winds will make for a great day to be outdoors, so pack that sunscreen and extra water, and enjoy your Sunday!🌞

We’ve done it again! As of today, given the dry forecast, Las Vegas will hit 100 consecutive days without measurable rainfall. Our record currently stands at 240 days set back in 2020, so while we aren’t close, we’re definitely not heading in the right direction. Temperatures this weekend and next week will be heating up, so be sure to stay hydrated out there!

Temperatures will quickly rebound above normal through this weekend. There will be a bit of cloud cover today, with light rain showers over the mountains (light snow possible at the highest elevations!), and a low chance of afternoon thunderstorms across portions of Lincoln and Mohave Counties this afternoon. Otherwise, dry conditions will be the rule. Have a great weekend ahead!

05/28/2026

Afternoon highs today and tomorrow will remain about 10 degrees below-normal before climbing through the week up to 10 degrees above-normal!

05/27/2026

Behind yesterday's cold front, afternoon highs today will be over 10 degrees below-normal. Gusty southwest winds will continue between 25 and 35 mph, with greater speeds in the higher terrain and near Barstow. Isolated showers & thunderstorms expected in northern Inyo and Esmeralda counties.

05/26/2026

Widespread gusty winds are on tap for the region today as a low pressure system moves into the area. Take a second this morning to ensure outdoor items are secure before winds really get going. Crosswinds and blowing dust will make for difficult driving conditions, so make sure to use caution when on the road.

05/25/2026

EXPANDED: Gusty winds return to the region tomorrow. Secure loose items while you can and be prepared for gusty and dusty conditions tomorrow.
