Toni’s House provides a safe living environment and a supportive community for people in transition

Established in 2010, Toni’s House provides transitional support to those on the road to recovery and who are committed to a life without addiction and post-trauma. This is achieved with several areas of focus that help residents to live their lives to the fullest, experience all of life’s adventures, make the most out of relationships, and be present in the moment. We offer programs and resources

As Director of Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning, Christie’s role is to help Toni’s House understand what is actually happening inside our homes and across our outreach programs—and why. She watches how recovery unfolds in everyday life, noticing patterns that might otherwise disappear into the blur of daily operations.

Christie did not arrive at this work through abstract interest or academic curiosity. The path began with a moment that rearranged her understanding of vulnerability and care. Her three-year-old son had been sick for several days when doctors finally discovered the cause: a brain tumor.

Read the powerful story of how Christie was compelled to pursue a career in social work on our Substack publication.

Great news for recovery in Las Vegas!

The Las Vegas Recovery Hospital is Southern Nevada’s first fully integrated addiction recovery hospital.

The hospital, which opened this past February, is a 32,000-square-foot, 68-bed facility at Dignity Health’s Rose de Lima Hospital in Henderson and is operated by Lion Health System.

The hospital's goal is to stabilize patients who have medical needs that are more complex than what traditional residential facilities can address. We welcome this facility into our ecosystem of care.

What does identity become when the world keeps changing the rules?

Vuong’s narrator is shaped by multiple forces at once: immigration, language, race, queerness, poverty, family violence, tenderness, and American mythology. There is no single “main” identity that can safely hold all the others. Even love, in this book, is never just love. It’s also class. It’s also danger. It’s also the difference between being seen and being survivable.

Our book club shares our thoughts on our very first collective reading experience, On Earth We’re Briefly Gorgeous. Read the entire post on our Substack publication at the link in bio.

Thanks to you, our Street Team has scaled its operations this year. Just yesterday, teams were at the West Las Vegas and East Las Vegas libraries engaging with our community members in need and letting them know about all of the resources available to them.

Your generosity keeps hope alive for so many! Every donation to our Hope in Motion campaign helps our street team deliver life-saving supplies and support to people in need across Las Vegas.

We are so proud of what we’re accomplishing together to help the Street Team drive change.

Thanks to your generosity, we’re expanding our outreach and providing more vital resources, like Narcan, harm-reduction supplies, and wound care kits to our unhoused neighbors in Vegas.

Your donations truly fuel hope in motion.

The Toni’s House Book Club is a twice monthly reading circle designed to bring people together through story, conversation, and connection. Each month we explore one carefully curated book, alternating between fiction and nonfiction, with themes that speak directly to the lives we’re building together.

We’re excited to announce the next book for a new month, beginning April 9th!

Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow is a deeply engaging and character-driven novel about friendship, creativity, and the ways we grow alongside, and sometimes apart from, the people who shape us. Following two friends whose creative partnership spans decades, the story explores ambition, identity, collaboration, and what it means to build something meaningful together.
