I am honored to serve as the Chairman of the NYC Chapter of ASIS, one of the largest and most active Chapters in the World. Our membership represents the entire spectrum of security professionals. Our Chapter provides an effective forum to bring these professionals together to further common goals, share experiences, promote best practices and to advance the Security Industry.
The core of our organization revolves around volunteerism and participation. As Ivan Scheier so aptly put it ""The broadest, and maybe the most meaningful definition of volunteering: Doing more than you have to because you want to, in a cause you consider good." I ask that all Chapter Members make a true effort not only to attend and participate but also to volunteer as we move towards the future.
