For far too long, women and girls with bleeding disorders have faced delayed diagnoses and barriers to care. Now, the work that our advocates and allies in Congress have paid off.

The FED UP with Bleeding Disorders Act aims to advance research, awareness, provider education, and equitable access to care for women and girls with bleeding disorders.

Happy World Hemophilia Day, celebrating people with all bleeding disorders! This year’s theme of “Diagnosis: First step to care” highlights the critical importance of diagnosis—the essential first step in treatment and care.

Today is World Hemophilia Day, a global moment to raise awareness, share knowledge, and advocate for better care and access for people with bleeding disorders.

This year’s focus on early diagnosis reminds us that timely answers can change lives, improving outcomes, reducing complications, and opening the door to proper care and support.

On April 17, we stand with the global bleeding disorders community in recognition, solidarity, and action.
