The Southern Nevada Health Consortium would like to extend an invitation for you to participate in our 15th Annual National Latinx AIDS Awareness Day event. The event will take place on Saturday Oct 5th, 2024 from 11am - 4pm, located at Chicanos Por La Causa, 555 N Maryland Pkwy, LV NV 89101.

Vendor set-up time starts at 9:30am but please be completed and ready to go by 10:30am. We will be providing Food distribution this year, and will have some food vendors there for food purchase., as well as entertainment.

There will also be a housing assistance section with at least 5 vendors.

This year we are also requiring COI from each vendor and the information is included in the vendor form. For those that are not Consortium members, there is a $100 vendor fee. We will provide a table and 2 chairs but no canopies. This is an outside event with certain select providers inside.

Come check out this free event and get tested. On August 15 we are offering HIV and Syphilis testing from 5pm-8pm at the Pearson Center. Know your status!

Mark your calendars. National Coming Out Day is tomorrow 10/11. SNHD will be offering HIV, Hepatitis C and Syphilis testing from 8am-4:30pm at Fremont Public Health Center, 2830 E. Fremont St. Come get tested, grab some condoms and learn about PrEP. “Come Out” and say hi.

World AIDS Day is December 1st, bringing together people from around the world to raise awareness about HIV/AIDS and demonstrate international solidarity in the face of the pandemic.

The Center is hosting a community vigil supporting Colorado Springs LGBTQIA+ families on Tuesday, Nov 11 at 5:30 p.m.
