We are officially BLASTING OFF because our school just achieved an out-of-this-world milestone! 🌌 We have officially skyrocketed from 30 points in the 2022-2023 NSPF grading system to an astronomical 70 points for the 2025-2026 school year! ⭐

Snack Shack is open tomorrow, Sept 4, during 1st-5th grade lunches! Everything is priced $1-$2. This will be the first snack shack of the school year, and students can expect it to be open most Fridays.

PTA is also asking for volunteers with a CCSD badge to assist with snack shack. If you are available, please sign up here

Schorr is GOLD level! 🌟

Sixty-six Clark County School District (CCSD) schools are being honored by the University of Nevada, Reno's Nevada Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) Technical Assistance Center for promoting positive student behavior.

CCSD saw a significant jump in recognized schools this year, climbing from 41 in 2025 to 66 in 2026.

Nominations for the Schorr 2026-27 School Organization Team (SOT) are now open. If you would like to serve as a Parent Representative or know of a parent who would make a great representative, please use the form below to submit the name. September 18th will be the last day to submit nominations.

What is the role of the School Organizational Team?
- Provide input on the school performance plan and budget.
- Provide continued advice to the principal in carrying out the school plan.
- Assist with the selection of the next principal when there is a vacancy.

What are the requirements of Team members?
- Attend meetings at least once per month, typically held at 3:40pm in person, with the option to join virtually, if needed.
- Serve on the team through September 30, 2027, unless your child no longer attends the school.
- Make decisions with the whole school population in mind.
- Work collaboratively and attempt to reach consensus with the team.

Nomination forms are due by September 18, 2026. Election held on September 22, 2026.
