While most Americans now live in a state where medical cannabis is legal, Idaho remains one of the last states where lawmakers are desperately trying to maintain complete prohibition.

🌿4/20 might not be an official holiday, but the government's got plenty to say about w**d.
In fact, the DEA has a list of 300+ slang terms for ma*****na. (Yes, our team counted.)
And cannabis laws are a total trip, with some states saying "puff puff pass" while others give a hard no. As of April 2026:
🔹24 states + DC have legalized recreational ma*****na
🔹40 states + DC have legalized medical ma*****na
🔹8 states have limited medical ma*****na to include only CBD products
🔹2 states prohibit cannabis entirely
However, legislative efforts are working to light up a path to legalization, such as Idaho’s House Bill 370, Pennsylvania’s HB 1200, and North Carolina’s HB 413.
