Over the years, a dozen home-grown restaurants have opened in the Carson Street neighborhood. One of our favorites featured this beautiful little mural with hands in prayer, the fullness of a red rose, and a neon sunburst. Now that Downtown is coming back to life and restaurants and businesses are making efforts to re-open, the images of the mural seem to take on a special meaning, giving thanks, hope and the promise of a new day.
