It’s Saturday and another week has been invested. Grinding, bleeding, and building this vision one long day at a time. I’m wired for mission and fueled by the chase of possibility. The adventure in it keeps me alive. Here’s photo/video dump of the past few weeks of training and work on the job. 🧱by 🧱

Honor ride completed 🤙🇺🇸 I did 42miles this morning. This is my 3rd time participating in this annual event. The Project Hero is a non-profit that uses cycling to help veterans and first responders combat the effects of PTSD and TBI. Roughly 500 cyclist both vets and non vets come out and support on Veterans Day weekend.

Quick story…It’s strange for me to be at a major university studying software engineering mostly given my past. My classmates are young and very smart. When I was their age, In my late teens and early 20s, I was in the Ranger Regiment perpetually training, a professional killing machine deploying in the GWOT to fight—an intense, demanding lifestyle I didn’t realize I’d miss so much when it was gone.

Transitioning to civilian life was brutal. I became a voracious reader and at 27 started boxing to find some meaning and purpose. Those experiences together reshaped me into an effective and adaptable individual. I fell in love with knowledge. It organized my head and oriented my aim…and then I stopped using fighting as a way to cope and instead I just fell in love with it as an art and discipline.

Fitness and combat continue to ground my daily routine, but now I push my boundaries in every aspect of life. Stronger and smarter is the game. Starting college later than most? Boxing in my mid-30s? It doesn’t matter! I run circles around people younger and older than me anyways. This is about embracing the unconventional and redefining my limits...me vs me. 👊

Forged in the crucible of combat. Still betting on myself.
