We provide food, shelter and comprehensive services and inspire our community through collaboration, recognizing that each person is created in the image and likeness of God, and that God’s compassion transforms lives. This leading community resource offers help and hope with dignity as it strives to meet the diverse needs of men, women and children in Southern Nevada. Through the generosity of foundations, grants, organizations and individual donors, Catholic Charities operates 16 programs providing support to more than 4,200 people daily and encompassing four core areas: Family Services, Food Services, Immigration and Refugee Services and Homeless and Housing Services. Catholic Charities also operates the largest Meals on Wheels program and Emergency Shelter Services in Southern Nevada. For additional information, please visit CatholicCharities.com.

A meal is more than just food on a plate. For homebound seniors, it means connection, dignity and a reminder that someone cares. Sometimes, it is the only connection they have to the outside world.

Last year, Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada delivered 865,550 meals to 4,268 homebound seniors throughout our community. As the need continues to grow, so does our need for volunteers.

Right now, volunteers can help bag frozen meals that will be delivered to homebound seniors across Southern Nevada. Whether you have a few hours to give as an individual, a group, or a local business, your time helps keep this essential lifeline moving.

Because Meals on Wheels is about more than delivering food. It’s about delivering connection, dignity and care.

Thank you to KTNV Channel 13 Las Vegas for highlighting our Meals on Wheels program and volunteer opportunities, and thank you to every volunteer, donor and community partner helping make sure our seniors are cared for.
