A welcoming community invitation includes the details someone needs before deciding to join.

If you are organizing an activity, explain what will happen, how long it will last, whether registration is needed, and what participants should bring. Add the entrance or meeting point instead of relying on a street address alone.

Describe access arrangements you have actually confirmed. Give people a private way to ask about their needs, and say when a detail is still being checked.

When sharing a flyer online, put the essential information in the post text too. Ask before taking or sharing someone’s photo.

When someone is in crisis, the wrong door can cost everything.

Too often, a person in a mental health or substance use crisis ends up in an ER hallway, a jail cell, or back on the street. None of those were built to help them heal.

At 5450 West Sahara, crisis intervention happens under the same roof as what comes next. Together with our partners Hope Harbor LV, Together We Give NV, and Southern Nevada Health Pass, we offer:

→ Crisis intervention and de-escalation, on site
→ A warm handoff to behavioral health and substance use treatment
→ Case management, ID help and job support in the same building
→ A team that stays with people after the crisis passes

Group home operators, case managers, first responders and families: you don't have to figure this out alone. Send people our way, or message this page to set up a referral path.

Depending on which managed care plan you're enrolled in, benefits can include rides to appointments, grocery or wellness rewards, and fitness memberships. Plans differ, and so does what each person qualifies for.
