Interesting article! At Green Acres Milling, we have the solution. Through our farmer owned supply chain in the Upper Midwest of the United States, we are insulated from the gluten contamination major milling groups claim is inevitable. Our farmers do not grow other crops that contain gluten and our oats are delivered direct to the mill bypassing contamination from trucks, trains, and grain elevators. Our goal is under 5 ppm and testing, post cleaning, is showing less then 1 ppm. For reference that is less then one grain of wheat, barley, or rye in 2 bushels of oats. This position is very unique in the industry!
