We had so much fun at Community & Culture Day this past Saturday!

We painted, colored, created, and—most importantly—spent time together. We love the way art can bring people together and create space for community!

A big thank-you to the Multicultural Advisory Committee for organizing such a fun and special event.

'Laurel Write Now!', the Laurel writer's group, is specifically looking for new members! They're an open-to-all writing and critique group in Laurel, Maryland, aided by the Laurel Arts Council, to help each other get their stories on paper and get them out there!

Laurel Write Now meets the 1st & 3rd Wed, 6:30pm-8pm at the Robert J DiPietro Community Center (in the game room).

If you're looking for fellow writers who will (respectfully) help hold your feet to the fire, and you enjoy helping other writers get their work past 'idea' into something potentially publishable, join them! Think of us as exercise buddies for writing.
