✨ GOLDEN le LAURIER: Fashion Week in Laurel ✨

Some legends walk the runway, while others pave the way for generations to follow!

This year, we are honored to recognize Coach Buddy Duke as our 2026 Homecoming Parade Grand Marshal!

A retired educator, respected coach, and affectionately known as “The WISE One” on the LHS football coaching staff, Coach Duke represents the heart, history, and tradition of Laurel High School.

His years of dedication to education and athletics have made him more than a coach. He is a mentor, a voice of wisdom, and a treasured part of the Golden Tornado family. His influence extends far beyond the classroom and football field, leaving a lasting impression on generations of students and athletes.

As we celebrate fashion, legacy, and excellence during Homecoming 2026, it is only fitting that we honor a man whose wisdom never goes out of style and whose legacy will always be GOLDEN! 💛

✨ Tuesday: Fashion Faux Pas – It’s so wrong, it’s right!

✨ Wednesday: Fashion for the Hallways – The Laurel Collection! Preppy, polished, and picture-perfect!

✨ Thursday: Fashion for the Duos – Two looks, one runway!

✨ Friday: Fashion for Game Day – Rep your Tornadoes in style!

CROWNED IN COUTURE
Join us in the LHS Auditorium for our spectacular Homecoming Coronation, where elegance meets tradition and royalty takes the runway!

Keep the celebration going at our Homecoming Dance in the LHS Gymnasium, featuring DJ Pretty Peech!

THE GOLDEN HOMECOMING PARADE
Our community is invited to join the celebration! Churches, businesses, schools, teams, and organizations . Bring your floats, trucks, and cars and show us your creativity! Parade judges will be watching!

Who says celebrating the boss has to be boring?! 😂

Today, LHS turned Boss’s Day into a day full of laughter, surprises, and a little bit of mischief as we celebrated our very own Dr. Mark! ❤️💛

Our teachers were on a mission during “The Mark Hunt,” searching high and low, while our Student Council members took things to another level by pretending they had spent the ENTIRE night sleeping in his office! 💤😂 Talk about making yourself at home!

From the hilarious moments to the heartfelt appreciation, today was all about celebrating the man who leads our Tornado family!

Dr. Mark, thank you for your leadership, dedication, and for being such a good sport! We hope today reminded you just how much you are appreciated!
