Today, we honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. This Memorial Day, the YWCA Northeastern Massachusetts stands in gratitude for those who gave their lives for the freedoms we hold dear.

Throwback Thursday this week goes to all the MOMS who keep us full of love, strength, wisdom, and support not just on Mothers Day, but every day and all year round. We got to celebrate some of our special YWCA mothers at our "Muffins with Mom" and "Mother and Son" Night at our Lawrence schools last week!

A HUGE Shout out and THANK YOU to Emily Busby, author of "Mommy Is Not An Octopus". She came in and did an Author Meet & Greet with our Lawrence School Age students and each child went home with a copy of the book. A book was also gifted to each of our Early Learning classrooms for all ages to read and enjoy!

The teachers, students and families had so much fun this year during "The Week of the Young Child" celebration across all three of our YWCA Early Learning and After School programs. From exploring new ways to create Art and Music, to learning about healthy and fun snacks for everyone!!

The Signs are Up! Will we see you this Saturday at Camp Y-Wood for the first Open House of the season!? Free to all from 11-3 pm. Come meet the Director and staff and tour the grounds that will become your new favorite Special Place as soon as you step foot on the land!
