The term “Brotherhood “ is often used when describing the fire service. Never has that been more exemplified, than by the response from our brothers and sisters to the tragic events that unfolded, one week ago today.
We, Lawrence Fire Local 146, take this moment to thank our brother and sister firefighters, as well as law enforcement, and EMS from all over New England, for their courage, selflessness, dedication and camaraderie throughout this incident. From the initial moments of chaos, and throughout the ensuing days your overwhelming show of
unity and support, helped provide a certain measure of strength and comfort to the citizens of Lawrence, Andover and N. Andover.
It is with great pride, that through the sadness and tragedy, the message was sent loud and clear. That we in public safety are united. We will stand together for the people and each other.
