🚒Training Night🚒
Also last night from 2100-2130 Life Flight - Geisinger #3 requested an LZ for night time flight training. Engine-3 and other officers set up an LZ at the Rush Ballfield. Members got to put a face to the voice on the radio (pilots) as well as practice radio reports for the incoming helicopter. It's always a pleasure to see our Lifeflight crews in a non-emergency situation! Fly safe and thank you for what you do!

🚒Training Night🚒
Last night between 1800-2000 Engine-3 and a full crew participated in an exercise at the Choconut Creek Apartments. The exercise consisted of multiple mutual aid units responded to an automatic alarm that turned into a working room in contents fire.

Units staged at the Elementary and "responded" in timed increments to simulate an active emergency and response times. Engine-3 provided water supply while other units performed evacuation of the residence, fire attack and Tanker shuttle operations.

Exercises like these are crucial to enhance capabilities and response between mutual aid partners, and for individuals to hone their own skills.
Thank you Silver Lake Volunteer Fire Company & Rescue Squad for the invite and we look forward to improving our teamwork .

🚨EMERGENCY RESPONSE🚨
This evening at 19:09 Rush FD was dispatched to the area of 12203 PA-267 and Bunnell Road for a 1 car MVA off the roadway into the woods, smoking and no entrapment.

Rush-11 arrived on scene confirming initial dispatch and started evaluating the patients.
Rescue-8 and other members arrived shortly after assuming patient care, scene lighting and traffic control.
Our units operated for almost 2 hours while PSP investigated and the tow company retrieved the vehicle. All units cleared at 20:48.

🚨EMERGENCY RESPONSE🚨
Tonight at 21:04 Rush FD, QRS, and Montrose Minute Men were dispatched to the intersection of SR-706 & SR-3023 for a 1 car MVA into the embankment.
Rush-13 arrived on scene (21:07) confirming dispatch with 1 patient out of the vehicle with injuries and began patient care along with Rush-14.
Rescue-8 arrived on scene (21:15) and began packaging the patient for Geisinger Lifeflight transport from the landing zone at the Rush Ballfields.

🚨EMERGENCY RESPONSE🚨
At 03:32 this morning Rush FD was dispatched to assist Laceyville Goodwill Fire Company with a vehicle fire near the intersection of PA-367 & 3004 in West Auburn. All occupants were out on initial dispatch.
Tanker-5 responded with 2 personnel while a full 5 man crew stood by at Station 1 incase another Engine was needed.
On arrival, Laceyville E-5 was making a fire attack. T-5 supplied E-5 and units operated for approximately 1 hour before clearing.
