Did you know that the library offers all kinds of programs - mostly free of charge?

We have been visiting k-7 classes - helping students pick out their birthday books. The birthday book program is grant supported. This is the 4th year! The cost is about $4500 - and allows students to choose a book that they receive at school - during their birthday month. This is part of our outreach literacy program - to help students build a home library. Research shows that having access to books, increases reading abilities.
