Leadville/Lake County Fire Rescue Leadville/Lake County Fire-Rescue (LLCFR) provides fire protection and emergency response to the City of Leadville and the County of Lake.

"First In-Last Out" is the core ideology of LLCFR. In this simple statement lives the standard of excellence to which we measure ourselves, the finest traditions of the fire service to which we commit ourselves and the altitude to which we daily aspire. We are the community's all-risk response agency, to which people turn to in times of need. We therefore pride ourselves on being the First In - never shirking our responsibility to protect the public whom we serve, or serving the public whom we protect - and Last Out - never leaving until our job is finished. This is the ideology of the entire organization, from management to line firefighter which drives our daily efforts, whether conducting vehicle checks, helping with a community event, fighting fire or rescuing people from danger.

🚗 Vehicle Donations Needed for Firefighter Extrication Training 🚒

Your local fire department is looking for vehicles to be donated for an upcoming vehicle-extrication class.

These vehicles provide invaluable hands-on training for current and future firefighters, allowing them to practice the lifesaving skills needed to safely remove patients trapped after serious crashes.

If you have an unwanted vehicle you may be willing to donate, please contact us for additional information. Vehicle condition does not matter, but proof of ownership will be required.

Your donation will directly support firefighter training and help us better serve our community when it matters most.
