🐾 TRANSPORTED TO THE SHELTER: ANIMAL ID A0061774339 🐾

Good morning, Leander! This sweet boy was found yesterday near Halsey Dr. and Bagdad Rd. without a collar, and no microchip was found. Our Animal Services Officers shared him on social media yesterday, but no owner has contacted us yet.

We’re looking for a foster with plenty of land and space to care for him while we continue searching for his family. He’s well-behaved, VERY soft, loves being petted, and appears to be kennel-trained! 🤍 His behavior around other pets and children is unknown.

If you recognize this sweet guy or are interested in fostering him, please contact Leander Animal Services at 512-528-2800. We can only hold onto him for a bit longer before it starts getting hot and then he’ll be transported to the shelter around 12pm.

Please share to help us find his family or a temporary place to stay! 🏡

This morning, Assistant Chief Billy Fletcher had the honor of representing the Leander Police Department at the SewaAustin 9/11 Commemoration Event at Lakeline Park in Cedar Park. We are grateful for the opportunity to join community members in remembering the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and honoring the courage and sacrifice of our nation’s first responders.

Sewa Austin is a local chapter of Sewa International, a nonprofit organization dedicated to selfless service through community outreach, disaster relief, education, and humanitarian initiatives.

Thank you, Sewa Austin, for the invitation and for your continued commitment to serving and strengthening our community. We were truly honored to be part of this meaningful event.

We would like to thank Kia of North Austin for inviting us to be part of their Employee Appreciation Luncheon! We had a wonderful time visiting with your team and are truly grateful for the warm welcome.

More importantly, we can’t thank you enough for your continued generosity and support of the Leander Blue Santa Program. Your commitment to community makes a real difference. Because of caring partners like Kia of North Austin, we’re able to bring joy, hope, and a little holiday magic to hundreds of local families each Christmas season.

We’re incredibly thankful to have Kia of North Austin as part of our Blue Santa family. Thank you for helping us make Christmas brighter for our Leander community!
