Sadly, we have not gotten much of a response on PTA support for next year. As of today we have 3 people committed to next year’s board. Please reach out if you have any interest. We will need more help to do all of the fun and support we traditionally do in a school year. Please consider helping out.

⚠️ Heads up, LISD! In collaboration with the Texas Division of Emergency Management, Leander ISD will be testing its emergency alert capabilities as part of a statewide drill on Thursday, April 2 at 11:30 a.m. ⚠️

On the morning of the test, you will receive an alert via ParentSquare, our districtwide communication platform. The message will clearly state that this is only a test and not an actual emergency.

📲 As many agencies are participating in this drill, please be aware that you may receive more than one test alert.

Tests like this one are important to help the district prepare to communicate accurately and in a timely manner in the event of an emergency and will help identify any areas for improvement. Thank you for your support in keeping our community safe and informed!

🏫🎒 New student enrollment for the 2026-27 school year is now open!

At Leander ISD, we believe that every student’s educational journey should be as unique as they are. We are For Every Student. Always. And we want every student to thrive. That's why there are several pathways available to students and families to choose from:

🆕 If you live in the district and need to enroll a new student, enroll here: https://bit.ly/4sHWXgV
➡️ If your student is already enrolled and you want to transfer schools, apply here: https://bit.ly/44vjxwr
👋 If you don't live within the district boundaries, and want to apply to go to LISD, apply here: https://bit.ly/4bED3xq

All LISD elementary campuses are open on April 1 from 7:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. to provide in-person registration support.

Start your student's journey today. Choose the path that fits your family and enroll now. ✏️ 📚
