🚨🔥 STATEWIDE BURN BAN IN EFFECT 🔥🚨

The Lebanon Junction Fire Department would like to remind everyone that Kentucky’s Forest Fire Hazard Season is now in effect.

📅 Burn restrictions are in effect:
• February 15 – April 30
• October 1 – December 15
• No burning before 6:00 PM during these periods.

🔥 Even when burning is permitted, please use extreme caution and follow all applicable safety requirements. Fires can spread quickly, especially during dry and windy conditions.

🚫 Help us prevent wildfires and protect our homes, property, and community. When in doubt, don’t burn.

For questions regarding burn regulations, contact the Kentucky Division of Forestry or your local fire department.

The Lebanon Junction Fire Department is currently seeking dedicated individuals to participate in our Rapid Response Program and help strengthen emergency response coverage for our community.

💰 Compensation
🚒 12-Hour Driver/Operator Shift – $80
👨‍🚒 12-Hour Non-Driver/Operator Shift – $75
🌙 Night Coverage (8-Hour Shift) – $55

The Lebanon Junction Fire Department is proud to announce that we raised $12,053.48 for the 2026 WHAS Crusade for Children!

This year’s total represents a 42% increase over last year’s donation of $8,487.94 and breaks our previous department record of $11,842.06, which was set during the 2005-2006 crusade year.

A special thank you goes to the Bullitt County Rod and Gun Club, Steve and Tony Miles for serving as Shoot Masters during the Turkey Shoot, Smoke Over Fire BBQ for donating food, and all those who gave their time, talents, and resources to help make this crusade a success.
