Warren County Technology Services (WCTS) has temporarily shut down the system that provides public access to WCTS‑hosted websites. This action was taken at 7:30 PM tonight due to a newly identified cybersecurity vulnerability in a third‑party product.
There has been no compromise to County systems, and no other operational impacts are expected. This is a precautionary measure to protect County data and services while we work on remediation.
Thank you for your understanding as we work to ensure continued security for residents, staff, and partners.

What an honor to attend the 2026 Gold Star Awards, celebrating the dispatchers and behind-the-scenes public safety technicians whose dedication and expertise help save lives every day. Warren County, Hamilton County ECC, Cincinnati Emergency Communications Center, West Chester, and the City of Fairfield were honored together with the Center Technologist Leadership Award for exceptional leadership and collaboration in implementing a regional CAD-to-CAD interoperability platform. Chief Public Safety Service Officer Joshua Moyer was instrumental in bringing this integration to life through collaboration among these agencies, and Joshua Moyer was proud to attend this inspiring event, hear the incredible stories of those working behind the scenes, and celebrate the teamwork that strengthens public safety across our region. What an honor!

Ever wonder how an emergency alert actually gets to you?

Behind many of the alerts and warnings you receive is IPAWS: the Integrated Public Alert and Warning System.

IPAWS is FEMA’s national system that allows authorized federal, state, tribal, territorial, and local agencies to distribute critical emergency information through multiple communication pathways.
That can include:
🔹 Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEA) sent to compatible cell phones
🔹 Emergency Alert System (EAS) messages on television and radio
🔹 National Weather Service systems
🔹 Other current and future alerting technologies

The important part? One emergency message can be distributed through multiple systems to help reach as many people as possible, as quickly as possible.

When you hear that familiar alert tone or see an emergency message appear on your phone, there is an entire system working behind the scenes to help keep you informed.

Today, Warren County came together to remember and honor those whose lives were forever changed on September 11, 2001.
At the Warren County 9/11 Memorial, our community joined together to recognize the courage, sacrifice, and service of the heroes who answered the call and the lives lost that day.
We remember. We honor.

Please visit the Administration Building to see the art work and read the words of local students. They are our future but they were not here on 9/11/01. We must never forget so they will always remember✨

🚨 Outdoor Warning Sirens: What You Need to Know

🔹 Sirens are owned and maintained by the local city, village, or township where they are located.
🔹 They are designed to warn people OUTDOORS and may not be heard inside your home.
🔹 Sirens are not designed to wake you up while you’re sleeping.
🔹 Never rely on sirens as your only warning method. Use multiple ways to receive emergency alerts, including weather radios and trusted smartphone apps.

📢 Warren County Communications remotely activates most sirens by quadrant based on the area of concern, with the cities of Franklin and Lebanon handling their own activations.

Want to learn more or see the outdoor warning siren map? Visit our website for additional information.
