๐ Today is Purple Thursday! ๐
In recognition of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, members of the Leesburg Police Department are wearing purple to show their support for survivors of domestic violence and raise awareness about the importance of prevention, education, and community support.
Domestic violence affects individuals and families across all communities. By standing together, we can help break the silence, support those experiencing abuse, and promote safer relationships.
If you or someone you know is experiencing domestic violence, help is available.
- Emergency Assistance: Call 911 if you are in immediate danger.
- Loudoun Abused Women's Shelter (LAWS): 703-777-6552 (24/7)
- National Domestic Violence Hotline: 800-799-SAFE (7233) or 800-787-3224 (TTY)
Today and every day, we stand with survivors and reaffirm our commitment to building a safer, stronger community.
๐ Wear Purple. Stand Against Domestic Violence.
