🎨 Featured Artwork: “Interpretation of The Card Players” by Bud Klein

At 96 years old, Bud Klein continues to create and surprise us. For this year’s Art Auction, Bud is contributing his own interpretation of Cézanne’s famous “The Card Players.” After his submission sparked a bidding war at last year’s event, we are especially excited to welcome his work back for another year.

See “Interpretation of The Card Players,” along with additional pieces by Bud, at Loudoun Cares’ 8th Annual Art Auction on Thursday, November 19 at Fleetwood Farm Winery.

We’re taking a quick break from all things Art Auction to shine a spotlight on someone special in our community.

For the past four years, Cynthia has dedicated her time and talents to Station Stitchers, turning her lifelong love of sewing into a meaningful way to give back.

From creating beautiful quilts to mentoring young volunteers, helping with grants, and delivering finished quilts to local organizations, Cynthia's contributions have touched countless lives throughout Loudoun County.

🧵 When asked what she loves most about volunteering, Cynthia shared: “My most rewarding part of volunteer work is knowing that I am giving back. It makes my heart happy to be a part of a community of artistic people and that my contribution is well received and needed.”

Cynthia is a wonderful reminder that volunteering isn't just about giving your time. It's about finding purpose, building connections, and making a difference in the lives of others.

Thank you, Cynthia, for sharing your creativity, kindness, and heart with our community! 💜
