Shout out to Mr. Lewers!!

Congratulations to Damon Lewers, Behavior Support Specialist at Rising Pretzels Academy, for being recognized as our newest Pretzel Magic recipient!

Damon's nominator shared:

"Damon has a personality that demands respect from others in the most calm, sensitive way possible. He is committed to his team and to the students of RPA. He is full of honesty and integrity, no matter what setting he is in, and he plays a vital role in the betterment of Rising Pretzels Academy."

At Freeport School District 145, we know that "Pretzel Magic" isn't really magic at all—it's the dedication, compassion, and heart our staff bring to work every single day. Damon exemplifies what it means to be All In for All Kids, and we're grateful for the positive impact he has on students and colleagues alike.

👏 Congratulations, Damon! Thank you for making a difference every day.

Our 2nd Annual End of the Year Picnic at Lake Le-Aqua-Na was a succes!! All of the students kayaked, some swam, they had kayak races and all of them ate way too much food.
