Day 2 of Young Engineers Summer Camp was filled with creativity and problem-solving!

From engineering and coding to earth science and circuits, today provided plenty of opportunities for our young engineers to learn and innovate!

Day 1 of Young Engineers Summer Camp is in the books, and what a great start it was!

Campers put their creativity and problem-solving skills to work as they:
🚀 Designed custom rocket fins using CAD software
🛩️ Tested and improved hoop glider designs for flight performance
🪂 Engineered parachutes and put them to the test with a balcony drop challenge, aiming for a precise landing zone

From designing and building to testing and improving, our young engineers jumped right into the engineering design process!

Day 4 wrapped up DROBOTS camp with an action-packed finale!

Campers

🚀launched the rockets they designed and built,
🏞️experienced a drone flight using VR goggles,
✈️sharpened their aviation skills in flight simulators,
🤖programmed LEGO SPIKE robots for sumo competitions.

Day 3 of DROBOTS brought another action-packed day of problem-solving and STEM exploration!

Campers put their creativity to the test by designing and building unique mini golf holes for a challenging round of Sphero golf. They also completed final preparations on their rockets!

Day 2 of DROBOTS was full of action, creativity, and engineering challenges!

Campers spent the day sharpening their STEM skills:

• Battled it out on the field with Sphero soccer
• Built rockets
• Piloted drones through an obstacle course
• Sent Eggbert on a test flight to evaluate the effectiveness of their custom safety restraint systems

Whether they were building, flying, coding, or testing, campers embraced every challenge with curiosity and teamwork!

Week 2 of DROBOTS Summer Camp launched into action with an exciting first day!

Campers explored the world of drone technology by creating their own propeller designs in CAD and taking to the skies as beginning drone pilots. They also put their creativity to work designing Sphero soccer players before competing in energetic robot soccer matches. Along the way, they investigated the science of air through engaging hands-on activities and experiments.

From engineering and problem-solving to flying and discovery, Day 1 was packed with STEAM learning and fun. We’re excited to see where their ideas take them next!

Day 4 marked the exciting finale of our first DROBOTS camp.

Campers watched their hard work take flight as they launched the rockets they built, explored virtual worlds with VR goggles, tested their piloting skills in flight simulators, and met Scooby, the robot dog. They also put their coding and engineering skills to the test by programming LEGO SPIKE robots and competing in thrilling rounds of robot sumo wrestling.

What a fantastic week of designing, building, coding, and discovering. We loved seeing these young innovators tackle every challenge with creativity and enthusiasm!

DROBOTS kept the momentum flying on Day 2 at STARBASE!

Campers put their engineering and problem-solving skills to the test as they competed in Sphero soccer, constructed rockets, navigated drones through an obstacle course, and launched Eggbert on a flight mission to see if their safety restraint systems could protect their precious passenger.

DROBOTS summer camp is off to a soaring start at STARBASE!

Campers kicked off Day 1 by designing custom drone propellers with CAD, taking their first flights as drone pilots, designing soccer players for exciting Sphero soccer matches, and investigating the amazing properties of air through hands-on experiments.

From designing and testing to flying and discovering, our young innovators packed a lot of STEAM into one exciting day. We can't wait to see what they accomplish next!
