Hello Community leaders and Business professionals! We will not meet for June. Our next meeting of networking, community updates, delicious lunch and a fabulous presenter will be on Thursday, July 9.

Lenoir City Committee of 100 member,
Our meeting will be held a week early this month to join in the celebration of the completion of the Don White training facility in downtown Lenoir City. Our original plan was to have our regular scheduled meeting on the 14th at the facility but we're asked to join in at the May 7 ribbon-cutting, I hope to see you there.
Please note we will be skipping the June meeting and be back at the Venue in July.

Don W. White Training Center (Behind Roane State Community College) in Downtown Lenoir City.

Thursday, April 9 meeting featured Ruth Henderson McQueen. Ruth is an expert on so many topics, but for today she spoke about the importance of volunteering, leadership- and how those two positions dovetail to create success! Mayor Harris spoke about upcoming activities in Loudon City including the free concert series! County commissioner Rosemary Hines Quillen represented the County and spoke passionately about up coming elections. Vice-Mayor Jennifer Lauderdale Wampler represented Lenoir City and talked about the upcoming Snaildarter Festival at TN Brew Works. Loudon County Chamber of Commerce President Rodney Grugin spoke about the many upcoming ribbon cuttings for local businesses and upcoming gala.
So much going on in our cities and County!
The next Committee of 100 meeting will be held at the Don White Training Center on Thursday, May 7, 2026.

Join us for the April Committee of 100 Meeting,

Thursday, April 9th, 11:30 a.m. -1:00 p.m. @ The Venue at Lenoir City.

Our special guest speaker this month will be Ruth McQueen. Ruth has a storehouse of knowledge on the areas history and local agriculture, she always brings interesting information to the group. We will also have our local community updates and plan to have Kentucky Fried Chicken catered for lunch.

Important update:

We will be changing the meeting date and location for May. We will be meeting on the first Thursday in May and the location will be the new first responder training center in Lenoir City at their ribbon cutting More information will be provided with next months meeting notice.

Please Register so we know how many plan on attending. This event is free for Committee 100 members and $10 for non-members. Plan to pay at the door.

Wonderful meeting for spring break! Featuring Loudon County Habitat for Humanity Executive Director Tony Tony Gibbons and Zach Cusick of Lenoir City Parks and Rec to tell us about how they are improving lives of Loudon County residents and how a proposed sales tax increase will provide benefits to the community. Dean Deatherage shared the upcoming fundraising event for Boys and Girls Club of Loudon County on April 16. Updates from City and County reps and our very own Chamber! So much to do!
Some elected officials attended, Vice Mayor Jennifer Wampler, County Commissioner Rosemary Hines Quillen, City Councilman James Brandon, County Trustee Chip Miller, Loudon City Mayor Jeff Harris, Lenoir City Mayor Tony Aikens, Blake Moore and Robert Gross are running for County Commissioner seats.

Great meeting for February! We had community updates from Mayor Bradshaw and Mayor Jeff Harrison and Chamber President Rodney Grugin. County Assessor Michael Ben Campbell came to speak about County property tax! If you weren't able to attend, Mike Cambell invited folks to stop in at County Annex Building to meet and get your questions answered!
