The 2nd Annual TGS Precision Trades Classic Golf Tournament is happening on Friday, August 9th at Avalon Golf & Country Club. This charitable event is dedicated to raising funds for scholarships, with 100% of the proceeds directed towards supporting a student's enrollment in TCAT Harriman's Machining Technology program. We had a successful day connecting local students from Lenoir City High School, Loudon High School, & Greenback with local employers seeking summer internships and full time employees. Stay tuned for the Pipeline Connect SIGNING DAY!!

We are excited for this event happening in ONE week!! Thank you to all of the community businesses and industries that have signed up to participate. This event will provide local high school juniors and seniors with the opportunity to find summer internships and full time job positions. Loudon County EDA’s Pipeline Connect program is a workforce initiative aimed at connecting the talent pipeline from local schools to local industries.

Loudon County was recognized for our Three Star Community distinction at the State of Tennessee Department of Economic & Community Development 2023 Governor’s Conference. Thank you to Governor Bill Lee for taking the time to recognize the state’s Three Star Communities!
The Three Star program is administered by our office and provides grant opportunities to better our county. We applied and have been awarded requested grant dollars this year - stay tuned for that exciting announcement!!
