LOVE COUNTY BURN BAN HAS EXPIRED

Due to the amount of rainfall in the forecast, Oklahoma law does not allow Love County to extend the current burn ban.

While most of our fire chiefs supported extending the ban for another week, much of Love County remains dry and fire danger still exists until the rain actually falls.

If you choose to burn, please:

Avoid burning on windy days.
Have water and equipment ready.
Never leave a fire unattended.
Make sure it is completely extinguished.
Call Love County E-911 at 580-276-5898 before you burn.

The burn ban may be over, but the fire danger isn’t. Please use caution.

Heads up!!! Here is the number to dispatch if you need 911!!! There is currently a problem with the calles being poured to Oklahoma City!!!

Love County E911 has been notified of an issue regarding 911 calls being misrouted. This is affecting multiple counties and is currently being worked on.
