Leonard Public Library

Dolly Day at the Leonard Public Library was a success!! We learned all about Dolly Parton’s life, watched her sing, learned one of her songs, read a book written by her and a book given from her Imagination Library too! The kids decorated a coat of many colors with squares of what we are thankful for and we talked about gratitude. We ate banana pudding cookies since Dolly loved banana pudding. Someone won a book to take home, and everyone else got to take balloons home!!!
It was a morning filled with love, kindness, and lots of reading.
We hope to see you at the next one on October 30th for The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown!

The Leonard Public Library is excited to kick off a new "Book Time with Miss Sheri" story time every month of the school year. This will be scheduled on a Friday from 10:30am-11:30am when Leonard is out of school so all kids can come and join in on the fun!!

Holidays, seasons and special people in history will be spotlighted. This month we are happy to spotlight Miss Dolly Parton on Friday, September 25, 2026.

Kids of all ages are encouraged to come from 10:30am-11:30am, dress like a cowgirl or cowboy if you choose, and snacks will be provided. We are looking forward to seeing you every month through May.
